Can you believe it? We’re already halfway through the year — six months in, six to go.
This isn’t just another date on the calendar. It’s your mid-year check-in — your invitation to pause, reflect, and reconnect with the woman you promised yourself you'd become.
At the start of the year, you likely set goals. Maybe it was to lose the weight. Maybe it was to stop hiding and start glowing. Maybe it was to start your own company. Maybe it was to write a book. Maybe it was to finally feel like yourself again — confident, energized, present, and alive in your body.
But here’s the question we don’t ask enough: Are you on pace with those goals, have they been pushed to the back burner as you take are of everyone else?
This isn’t about judgment. It’s about awareness (one of the first tenets of emotional intelligence). You don’t need to start over. You just need to get honest — and then get back in alignment.
And the best way I’ve found to do that? A monthly check-in system that helps you see your progress clearly — not just in pounds or inches, but in emotional growth, habits, mindset, and self-trust.

🌿 Why This Matters for Wellness & Weight Loss

Weight loss is not just about workouts and meals. It’s about how you feel day to day. How you speak to yourself. How you show up for your goals when no one’s watching. This 12-question system has been my go-to for years — as a business owner, as a coach, and as a woman on my own wellness journey. And now, I want to share it with you as a mid-year reset ritual — your chance to slow down, take inventory, and reconnect with your power.

📓 The 12 Mid-Year Reflection Questions

These are the exact prompts I use to check in every month — and they’re even more powerful at this halfway mark of the year.
Grab your journal and give yourself space to be honest, reflective, and kind.
1. What are my top 10 wins so far this year?
(Health, mindset, energy, anything.)
2. What have I learned about myself these last 6 months?
3. What distractions or fears have gotten in my way?
4. How did I make myself feel good — in mind, body, and/or spirit?
5. What didn’t happen that I wanted — and why?
6. Who inspired me or helped me grow?
7. What actions can I take now to close the gap between where I am and where I want to be?
8. What insights did I gain that I wasn’t expecting?
9. How do I feel about my progress — physically, emotionally, mentally?
Did I allow myself to enjoy the journey?
10. What internal blocks or fears have I noticed — and how can I start releasing them?
11. What did I notice about my emotional patterns?
What emotions came up the most? How did I handle them?
12. Was I present in my life — or just going through the motions?
How can I be more connected to myself in the next 6 months?

If your answers make you proud — celebrate that. And if they make you realize it’s time to shift — celebrate that too.

Awareness is power. Now you get to choose how you want to finish this year. Not in hustle! Not in guilt! But in alignment!with a body you love, energy you trust, and a lifestyle you can actually live with.

💬 My Challenge to You

Take one evening this week to do this 12-question reflection. Light a candle. Pour a glass of cucumber lemon water. Set the vibe. Then ask yourself the most important question of all:
"Am I becoming the woman I said I wanted to be this year?"
If not — you’ve still got half of the year left to become her. Because the goal in wellness and weight loss isn’t just to change your body. It’s to change your relationship with yourself — and that’s a journey worth finishing strong.
